alt text on image "Florence oil" is olive oil made in Florence.
"Paregoric Exilr" is camphorated tincture of opium, also known as tinctura opii camphorata.

alt text on image Methodist church founder John Wesley suggested a tincture of 6oz salt water, two drams of volatile aromatic spirit, and ounce of Florence oil and half an ounce of sugar- but suggested replacing the volatile spirit with a mixture of camphor and opium for better results! Needless to say I can't recommend you trying to make or ingest this poison. It could kill you. I did say that the well-to- do, in some cases, had some excellent ways of killing themselves and their children and needless to say he was not a physician or doctor.

alt text on image Syrup of Poppies is another name for Opium. It is potentially lethal. The 'Leeds Intelligencer' on Tuesday 12 July 1791 (p3), reporting the death of a baby from a misjudged dose of the medicine, said that; "...opium, laudanum, nay even Godfrey's cordial, syrup of poppies, and poppy tea, are deleterious poisons, and there is reason to fear that the lives of some, and the constitutions of many children, fall a sacrifice to such medicines, when imprudently administered."

"Strangeness & heat of Urine" possibly refers to cystitis and urinary infections.
