about as warm as milk from
the Cow- put to it 25 pound lb of
Malaga raisins pricke’d & rubbe’d very
clean, & then throw in the sage-
stir all the ingredients together &
let them stand a week in a cool place- then strain your liquor through’
a sieve into a cask- work it with yeast
4 days- stop it close & let it
stand a week more- at the
end of this time add to it 2 quart of Malaga Wine & when the
liquor is clear bottle it- this is
reckoned the wholesomest of all made wine-
