Description
Take a pound of flour in 3/4 of a pound. of Butter, beat
7 eggs and put to them 12 spoonfuls of Cream & half
a Gill of light yeast, mix up the Flour & Butter with these
& set them to the fire to rise. Then mix in a pound
of Sugar and Seeds to your liking if you choose it add
Currants, put them on Fire and Bake them in a cool oven
