Potatoe Pudding
1 1/2 pounds of potatoe pounded
fine
4 eggs
1/2 pounds sugar
1/2 pounds butter
all worked together
a little nutmeg
large lemon- rind grated
puff baste bottom and edge
20 minutes baking

Cowslip Wine
15 quarts of spring water boiled with 5 pound lb of sugar
and half a pound lb of Hops. Add to it when cold 4 Quarts
of Cowslips and one pint of yeast- when fermented
add the whites of two eggs & close it up.

Shrowsbury Cakes
1 1/2 pound lb. of flour, half pound lb of sugar 1/2 pound lb of butter, 2 eggs
and a little nutmeg and a few Caraway seeds-
